About Ranakpur: Ranakpur is famous for its superbly carved Jain temples. These temples were built in the 15th century during the reign of the monarch Rana Kumbha. The main Temple was built in 1439.

Chaumukha Temple: This temple is dedicated to Tirthankara Rishabji. A four faced image is enshrined in the inner sanctum which is open on all four sides. The temple has a basement covering 48,000 sq. feet area. There are four subsidiary shrines, twenty four pillared hall and eighty domes, which are supported by over four hundred columns.
