About Chittaurgarh: Chittaurgarh, well known for the Maharani of Chittaur Padmini whose beauty led the Sultan of Delhi, Allauddin Khilji to attack the fort. After a fierce battle, Maharani with her entire entourage committed sati. The Fort lies on a 180 meter high hill and is spread over 700 acres.
